Guys, there's some restriction that you are not aware of. See here:
http://googlesitemapgenerator.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/doc/gsg-installation.html
System and web server. Google Sitemap Generator has been tested on the following
platforms:
* Microsoft Windows 2003 Server (32 bit or 64 bit) with Internet Information
Service
(IIS) 6.0
* Microsoft Windows 2008 Server (32 bit or 64 bit) with IIS 7.0
You are all probably running XP, Vista or 7... therefore the app is not working.

I agree with Mihai´s comment. You have to meet the minimum prerequisites in
order to
be able to install the generator. In this case, the Windows Server.

I'm almost done with the installation with ISS 5.1 installation but then it
asked for a Win XP 3 CD of which I don't have because I downgraded my OS from
Vista to XP and the CD was out of nowhere!

To Install IIS 7.5 on Windows 7
You can perform this procedure using the user interface (UI) or a script.
Using the UI
Click Start and then click Control Panel.
In Control Panel, click Programs and then click Turn Windows features on or off.
In the Windows Features dialog box, click Internet Information Services and
then click OK.
