What is the relation between the alignment strength between central galaxies and host halo orientation and the amplitude of intrinsic alignment in (non-)linear alignment models.

I need to remind myself of a few details, but this appears to be a general suppression (for wg+, w++, or analogous statistics) and is valid beyond the linear alignment model.
