Can't use field conditions inside product variant options

Description

If you have a product with the Product Variants fieldtype, like shown below:

Then, add a field, in this case for managing stock:

You can go into the field and configure conditions for when the field should show:

However, even after the condition is configured and saved into the blueprint's YAML file, the field isn't actual conditional in the product variants field.
