In my personal experience, tasks are often like personal suggestions rather than commitments. A simple solution could be to "activate" a task and that would set a timer for the time estimate of a task to commit to working on said task, focused and uninterrupted (a proper native mobile app could also turn on do not disturb mode maybe?).
