Build failure: wayland-client.h: No such file or directory #1180

Issue description

When building the master or v1.9.2 .I get the error wayland-client.h: No such file or directory, I checked the folder /usr/include/ and the file is there.

I don't exclude the possibility that the problem can be on my end but don't know where that might be, I'd like any help.

Installation info

Version: v1.9.2
Install type: manually
Window manager / Desktop environment: swaywm
Distro: Ubuntu 22.04

The issue was on my end. I set the environment wrong.
