also, users should have the ability to selectively update. users should be able to post a blanket update to all marketplaces associated with a particular listing ID. But, in other cases, a user may want to update a unique marketplace.

There are two entities involved here -- LiberecoListing(shared between different marketplaces) and Ebay Listing(specific to Ebay). This issue is specific to Ebay. So, if user update EbayListing then it will be only applied to Ebay. But if user update LiberecoListing it will applied to all the listings on all marketplaces.There is another issue for that https://github.com/dushkindigital/marketmap/issues/29. Are we on same page?

Yes, that is the point. LiberecoListing should update all listings and the marketplace-specific listings should be uniquely updatable. We are on the same page.

This issue has been fixed so now each time you update EbayListing item is updated on Ebay side. The code is up and running on https://libereco.cloudfoundry.com/
