Cannot add Wifi SSID unless present #343

When adding the rule "Nearby Wifi Network" -> "SSID" it is not possible to select an SSID the computer is not connected to. It would be helpful to be able to define any SSID OR at least select from the list of known SSIDs saved in the system.

Note that this list has gotten much longer with Mavericks, iOS devices, and iCloud Keychain sync as any wifi network connected to by any device will be shared.

Agreed with adrian, it would help me setup various setup while being in a different location.

The long list shouldn't be too big a problem if sorted in a helpful way, e.g.

sounds like a good idea to me (i remember being mildly inconvenienced by this when i last set up from scratch)

Ah, I thought this was just a thing I didnt understand, but now I read here, that this is a bug. Ok, that Feature (to use different SSIDs to switch the network's Location) is why I installed it on my MacBookPro (2009, 11) with Yosemite v2, and this (that not working) is the reason why I uninstall now :)
