1413296242-2014-10-14 at 15 01 09 pm default_browser A new dialog in Yosemite is displayed when a third-party browser tries to set itself as the new default app for opening links. ControlPlane is set on my Mac to change default browsers automatically and an irritating dialog pops up every time. I would like to see this dialog removed, Can this dialog be bypassed with ControlPlane for seamless context switching?

Yes, I have already implemented a fix to be released soon.

Ok, I'm losing my mind. I did already release the update that includes support for changing the default browser. Make sure you have the latest version installed. If checking for updates with your current version of ControlPlane doesn't work download it from http://www.controlplaneapp.com/download/1.5.4. You'll need to set ControlPlane as your default browser and it'll handle the rest from there. If you ever want to stop using ControlPlane you'll need to select some other browser as your system default.
