Dotfile Management #1

Before I ask my question I just wanted to say that I'm REALLY impressed by your configuration and have been trying to emulate it as much as possible.

Anyways, my question is in regards to how you manage your dotfiles across multiple systems... Wouldn't it be easier for you to use "Dots" (https://github.com/EvanPurkhiser/dots) and set it up in such a way (like you have now) that it updates the "Machine" based on an HDMI input?

I mean, you're probably doing it your way for a reason >.> Hope I'm not bothering you! Thanks for reading!

Oh gosh, I'm really sorry I didn't see this message until now! (I don't log into this account often enough.)

Just checked out the repo. Hmm, I'm not so sure what the added complication of using this tool would compensate for. Looking at his example configuration (https://github.com/EvanPurkhiser/dots-template), it seems his configuration groups are pretty much the way I use branches. Plus, sorted into their own branches allows better viewing revision control-wise, as you're directly looking at the dotfiles of each machine discretely.
