Fix sha1 path tests #31

Fixes failing tests introduced in #29

Sorry for the breakage, and thanks for the fixes, Jed! @buchuki it won't hurt to wait a bit with merging those pull requests, it seems I tend to mess them up... And I am sure either Jed would have spotted the issue first, or else the Travis output would have signaled the failing tests, and I would have taken care of it myself ;-). (As it is, Travis seems to be totally swamped tonight, so I guess waiting would have taken ages... ah well... primary point to remember for myself: Run the test suite before submitting a PR :grinning: )
