That's because kmscon.conf itself isn't properly implemented, yet. kmscon(1) contains a paragraph that explains how kmscon.conf is currently parsed. Until the real parser has been implemented, I see no reason to wrote a temporary kmscon.conf(5) man-page, sorry.
Regards David
Maybe stick an example in the existing man page, then? It wasn't clear whether or not things like font names with spaces needed to be quoted in kmscon.conf (they don't, it turns out).
Well it says that all values are accepted the same way you pass them on the command-line. As all the quoting/etc. is done by the shell, not kmscon, it isn't needed in the config. Anyway, I understand if that isn't clear. I will try to write up a short dummy page.
I went ahead and applied the patch from @larsks. Thanks! I only did some whitespace cleanups.
I hope that's fine for now. I am still busy writing the ini-file parser, but I am not having so much time recently. But I promise to document kmscon.conf once that is done.
I hope the addition from larsks is fine for now? Thanks David
kmscon(1) references kmscon.conf(5), which doesn't exist.
