From Alynne:
Data type 3) Bottle files – a little more complexity in addition to having to add the measurement types
I’ve noticed that I did not include the name of the cruise in the title of some past bottle datasets, so I’m going to start including that and ask Lee and Jackie if they are ok with updating the old titles at the risk of having to get a new DOI because of it when they return from the current cruise they’re on. If somehow that rule has been relaxed please let me know so we can add SWL”YYYY” to these titles (they are in the dataset filenames – and include: SWL2016, SWL2017, SWL2018, and SWL2019 titles occurring as: “Discrete water samples collected from the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth rosette at specific depths, Northern Bering Sea to Chukchi Sea, 20??” Links to them are at the bottom of this message.
For the clones, please use a mix of SWL2018 (https://arcticdata.io/catalog/view/doi%3A10.18739%2FA25T3G15S) and SWL2017 (https://arcticdata.io/catalog/view/doi%3A10.18739%2FA2P843X00). From the SWL2018 dataset use up to variable “DOC”, then add “SPM, chla_a_Frey, Pheophytin, and the CDOMs” from the SWL2017 dataset and also include the creator contact info associated with Karen Frey. The hope is that she will again include her data with our submissions and I “think” it’s easier to delete it from the clone than add it back in later. We may have to communicate back and forth on these when the time comes if I don’t have flexibility with deleting/adding/changing variables.
Priority 2 (soon) –
- Discrete water samples collected from the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth rosette at specific depths, Northern Bering Sea to Chukchi Sea, Sir Wilfrid Laurier 2021
- Discrete water samples collected from the Conductivity-Temperature-Depth rosette at specific depths, Northern Bering Sea to Chukchi Sea, Sir Wilfrid Laurier 2022
All clones have been made. Not all have been processed, as PI still needs to upload data, but all have been created.
