Nice find. Seems like YouTube has updated their actual video styling with an additional property that messes up the normal mode.
I will make a fix and release it later today.
Fixed. Awaiting review approval on Chrome and Firefox web stores. Once approved and you get the extension update to 2.5.0, let me know if you no longer have issues?
Thanks!
I have 2.5.0, It seems to have kind of fixed it but now normal mode in full screen does not fill the screen " top to botttom "
I also have a 3440x1440 screen .
@Hellrazer001 This video aspect ratio seems to be a good fit for Upscale, no? Normal should reset all, similar to pause, but not quite. If this video you posted looks the same when you pause the extension, that's about right.
Hi Thank you for your great program I use it a lot.
In full screen normal mode the 16:9 used to touch the top and bottom of the screen.
Seems to be working different for some videos, this one is not working like it used too its stuck in 21:9
thanks
not sure why these images are not showing.
These 3 images it is working well except the 16:9 full screen mode image used to touch the top and bottom of my screen but still be in 16:9 " so black bars on left and right only "
Extension Paused, this is how it used to look in the extension, at 16:9 normal mode.
I have fixed it again, this time to work as you describe through these images. This was a very helpful insight from you @Hellrazer001.
Once you guys get an update of the extension to 2.5.1, the issue should be solved. Keep me updated.
I've got today the update to 2.5.1, and now it's working flawlessly as it's supposed to do.
Thanks a lot!
Thank you, Very Much Works Perfectly, Thank you for your great work and great program.

When I select normal mode, either with my mouse or with the keyboard shortcut, when I go fullscreen on YouTube it crops my video to 21:9 format as if I had selected the upscale mode. The only way for me to see the video in 16:9 format with black bars while in fullscreen mode is pausing the extension.
My display is 3440x1440 in resolution, and I am running this extension in Firefox on Arch Linux.
