font-weight: normal doesn’t map to font-weight: 400 #27

in most CSS stacks, font-weight: normal is synonymous with font-weight: 400 On the Nook HD (and maybe other ADE readers?), you must specify 400 as the font-weight.

the solution is to only specify weights using the numeric values.
