IE testing #125

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
We need to test UI in IE/FF/Chrome/Safari.
Chrome and Sarafi should be almost the same as they use WebKit.

Now we need to catch up on IE/Safari. Just step through the features in
user and admin part where we have our code on the pages.

Same issue as #123 for all browsers - image fields bug.

(Chrome and Safari)
The expansion icons on the image fields are not working properly.

Both icons have the same function. Weather I click the \/ icon or the <=[]
one, the image field gets expanded down and to the left. This should only
happen for the <=[] icon. The \/ icon should only expand the image field
downwards and not to the left.

Clicking on the field name (bar) does the trick properly. The field gets
expanded downwards only. The same should happen for the \/ icon as well.

Also, the icons don't collapse the field. They just toggle between a full
expansion of the field (down and to the left) and a partial expansion of
the field (downwards only).

IE
Image field icons don't work at all. Can't expand the image field. Neither the
icons
or clicking on the field name works. They ac like "Back to top" links on a page
-
clicking them just brings me back to the top of the page.

Admin part looks OK in all browsers.
Went through the pages that have our stuff in them ZetaPrints Sync,
Configuration,
Access control, Product list...
Looks ok in Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari.

IE doesn't handle multiple image uploads like the other browsers.

Ex.
http://www.zetaprints.com/magedev/index.php/realestate-signs/remax-yard-signs/re
max-square-sign-01-3-photos-24-x-24.html

I can't select multiple images at once. If I pick one image for one image
field, when
I go to pick an image for the second or third field, the image for the first
field
gets overwritten. Bottom line, picking one image for one image field makes the
same
image appear for all image fields.

So, if I click "Upload" and "Regenerate preview" all image fields have the same
image.

Don't see the problem in IE8. Which version are you using?

I'm using IE8.

Here's what you do:
1.go to
http://www.zetaprints.com/magedev/index.php/realestate-signs/remax-yard-signs/re
max-square-sign-01-3-photos-24-x-24.html

2.Open the first image field, chose an image for it but don't hit upload yet.
3. Open the second image field and chose another image for it as well.

As soon as you picked the second image, notice that the image name in the field
of
the first image is changed to your second one. If you hit upload the images
will be
both uploaded as they should but if you hit "regenerate preview" right after
that,
you'll see that only one image is selected for all of the fields - the same
image is
used for all image fields in the template.
