Fail to cast dwains dashboard to google chromecast devices #466

I got an error when I trying to cast dwains dashboard to chromecast devices. Is it possible to support this feature? Great thanks!

Test on dwains-lovelace-dashboard version v3.0.0 Tested on my Google Nest Hub 2 and TV chromecast stick

Try resetting the cache

First of all: great job building this dashboard! :) Now, the bad stuff: I have the same issue, same message on screen when casting! Any other dashboard, view or media fila casts perfectly! Rebooted the Nest Hub, no dice! I could not find a method to clear the cache on the Hub!

Same here, had similar issue with dd2. Was hoping this would be resolved with dd3.

Can confirm I am seeing the same issue. I don't believe there's any way to clear the cache on the Nest hubs.

Well, I was using that but it ends the cast after 10 minutes. With Media cast it works without this limitation. Thanks for the comment, anyway. In the end, I abandoned this approach and created my own castable dashboard. Cheers and keep up the good work. gns

CATT was a nice option for me but I think its installation method makes it prone to breaking in HASSOS. I was using CATT then I updated HA and now even a rollback cant seem to fix it. It might be still worth pursuing being able to cast Dwaynes through the home assistants own cast method. CATT is better in my opinion but it doesnt seem to have the blessing of the powers that be sadly
