Menu bar and modals slow on Samsung Phones #1

Conduct a test in device lab and note down the devices which are showing very slow performance.

Site modals work well on iPhone with one touch bringing up the story title and a second popping up the modal, the first touch also triggers the hoverIntent script which will be useful for recording history.

Suggest possibly routing non-apple devices (mobile) to an alternate site.

Further testing is required across the board - including iPads and samsung tabs etc.
