Overarching background design

Issues:

• Parallax doesn't work consistently. Generally laggy.
• Stars can look like gunk on your screen
• At least one instance of "that dark blue blog background is awful"

Proposed solution:

Change the background entirely. No more stars/parallax. Add a light mode.
