Swatch images on Magmi imported products removed when viewing product #392

Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

This problem is not Magmi related but to the Magento Configurable Image Swatches. If you reuse product images, i.e. use the same URL for multiple products, Magento will delete those entries from the database, independent if you use Magmi or the Magento importer.
