Importing products to magento 2.1.8 using magmi 0.7.23-git, all seems to go well except for category remapping. I am importing between 9000 and 20000 products per vendor, currently from 9 vendors, sorting into 4 main categories and approximately 200 subcategories. Also this will be a multistore setup, so I am taking that into account from the start. Ultimately my categories_map.csv should hold the values to map all of the vendors' categories into my own.
For example, this vendor file has column 'classification' which I've remapped with column mapper to 'categories' to work with category importer/creator plugin. Then using ValueReplacer I attempt to reassign vendor 'classification' values to 'categories' using a csv file. The expected result is 'Wire' is translated to [Default Category]/Interior/Wiring and [Default Category]/Under the Hood/Wiring, but the returned result is [Default Category]/Wire.
My ValueReplacer statement for the 'categories' column is:
