Hi, I used NUCLEO-F401RE example uart04. Compilation and linkage work.

I flash my board. openocd -f board/st_nucleo_f4.cfg -c "program uart04.gcc.thumb2.flash.elf verify reset exit"

What config I need to test with minicom?

I am on Linux, the device /dev/ttyACM0 appears. When I open minicom on it, nothing happen.

Thanks for you help.

my minicom config file then I use

minicom acm0

to use it. dont know if running as root or sudo-ing it is required.

does using openocd like that work for other examples? ones that blink leds for example, are you sure it is loading and running the program? and or maybe you need to press the reset button.

despite saying machine generated, I generally copy one and change the ttyWHATEVER to make more of them.

cat /etc/minicom/minirc.acm0

Machine-generated file - use "minicom -s" to change parameters.

pu port /dev/ttyACM0 pu mhangup pu rtscts No
