Be able to compare list to own Calibre Server and just show Delta.

It's one of my goal with calisuck to avoid duplicates already downloaded (Work in progress) but I'm using a my own db and as I keep the UUIDs it's already largely efficient.

If you reimport the books in Calibre after a Demeter download the UUID are different and you will need to create a similar algo as Demeter does. It will never be perfect. You may also create a custom field on your own Calibre and trac the original UUID to help you.

I don't use Calibre personally for different reasons

Thanks. Will take a look. I'm using Calibre and Calibre-Web. I have four different libraries:

  1. Regular Books - 135,400 books
  2. Computer Books - 5289 books
  3. Magazines - 816
  4. Self-Help - 1476 books

I have a separate temp library that I use when downloading books using Demeter as a staging area while I sort the books and remove duplicates. I obviously have way too much time on my hands!!! :-). Being able to automate some of this would help which is what I am looking for here and assume others would too but maybe I'm incorrect.

I'll send you my count in PM but it's simply not manageable with calibre. But again we could talk about that and as I told you you perfectly could work on separate features than me and we could work together on some of them when we are in sync.

Thats my thought as well. I think we both have some different use cases that we may be able to sync together.
