When I started poking around at Gurbalib with Sirdude for the first time today (not having worked with it since early spring), I noticed that the Intermud daemon was no longer connecting correctly to the server. He hadn't messed with the code for Intermud at all, and the copy of the lib running on my own server had the same issues, so I came to the conclusion that a DGD change must be causing it.

After trying various revisions after 1.4.14 (the most recent DGD version I saw on the Intermud mudlist), I traced the point at which the intermud stopped working to this commit: https://github.com/dworkin/dgd/commit/a61973f43885e3f1712ee4530feb60a79636c216
Can you help me figure out what was changed here that might have caused the problem? I know that Gurba's intermud uses the network extensions.
