Decide on trigger questions for notes #31

Open ajburls opened 7 years ago

As a user of the app It would be helpful to have trigger questions in the notes sections for both queries and individual papers in addition to the blank note section. In order to help me remember my views [this also useful for product owner and researchers to see how app being used]

First step is for Jose and Amanda to decide wording/responses of core trigger questions.

Here are proposed trigger questions:

For notes about questions/search

Did you find evidence to inform your question? Yes | Partially | No

For notes about answers

What is the design of this paper? [Drop down list from which only one can be selected] • Guideline • Policy document • Systematic Review
• Randomized controlled trial • Cohort study • Case-control study • Qualitative study • Economic evaluation • Diagnostic test accuracy study • Cross-sectional study/Survey • Clinical prediction rule • Other [perhaps free text box for people to specify what it was if they choose "other"?]

Validity - how trustworthy did you find this resource? High | Moderate | Unclear | Low

Results - what were the key findings? [free text box]

Relevance - are the results generalizable to your context? Yes | Somewhat | Unclear | No

Did the findings influence your decision? Select one of the following • Not applicable • Yes – it changed what I would have done • Yes – it helped confirm what I would have done • No

(I already sent a draft of these to @joseempa by email and modified them in the light of his comments)

This issue as been added to the Sprint 3 planning draft as Amanda confirmed in the call today that she would like this completed before the end of Sprint 3

@Cleop please could you time estimate this?

User feedback on app has give the suggestion that when we get to doing a more structured note for the app a useful field would be a short free-text box summarising bottom line e.g.

Implication for practice:
