Asking for Forgiveness not Permission...? #41

In light of the idea that:

"It's easier to ask for forgiveness than to get permission."

Is having a "contributing" guide and "process" for getting work done in a remote/distributed team still relevant...?

I think it's 100% necessary to have these in place, even if all of the team is remote. It makes the everyone's lives so much easier if the whole team is on the same page and the only way to make sure of that is by having a "contributing" guide and "process" for getting work done. IMO 😄

I feel like the README covers both 'contributing' and 'processes for getting work done', but can I ask - what would be the difference? Is this different from 'process of contributing'...?
