Fascinating podcast episode. worth listening to again. Highly recommend it. Main takeaways from my first listen which I've already implemented:
I do
2 mins
of (HIIT) Bodyweight exercises (pushups, situps, squats and stretches) before weighing myself. The cognitive benefits of a few mins of exercise last 2 hours. i.e. go for a short but intense run before an exam!! 🤯 People who are "very fit" have up to 9 years more brain-desease free added to the end of their life.
The science is unambiguous on this. Cold exposure is good for everything.
