We might not have enough lawn to justify a mower yet ... we currently pay a gardener/company to cut it once a month.
But if (a) we end up with enough lawn after the #14 is finished, (b) we do a cost-benefit analysis and (c) we can justify the time investment to build one ourselves it could be an awesome practical robotics project!
We could build a rideable blade-less prototype with *`A`** with all the mapping/control for testing.
And then add the blades or build a second one with blades as the actual mower. 💭
