Hit the leave
nav button and hit application

Hit the ➕ under Transaction
to open a new holiday request (screenshot)
In the holiday request box, the first field - entitled leave
has only one option (TIMEOFF
), so just select that (screenshot)
Now fill in the dates (don't worry about hours
, just get the dates done) and press OK

Hit the leave
nav button and select planner/schedule

Behold! All the info on upcoming holidays is right there! (Note that the handy visual leave planner
calendar will only display one month at a time
Holiday requests appear in the leave pending approval
section at the bottom. (screenshot)
Now simply double-click on each row to open the request, and the only thing you need to do is change the dropdown from pending approval
to approved
(depending on your mood) and hit OK (screenshot)

It would be ideal to manage all freelancers and PAYE dwylers in the same system (Xero), but since we would have to pay to for accounts for everyone, we have decided to adopt HR.my for managing freelancer holidays.
Below are the processes for booking and approving/managing freelancer holidays.
