There are three bits to that: it's a process not an event. It's rarely the case that you get the exact final version on the first attempt. It's normally a process of trial and error. Secondly it's about original thinking. It doesn't have to be original to the whole world, but it certainly has to be original to you. (i.e. the first time you draw a stick figure "person" as child is not the first time anyone has made that drawing, but it is the first time you have created it so it's original to you). Thirdly it's about value. Who's values? All creative processes involve evaluation. Making judgements about whether it feels right. You can see it. If you're doing a design, is that right?
