@SimonLab I too had issues with VSCode "watching" me. Switched to VSCodium which doesn't have any trackers and has 100% feature parity. see: https://github.com/dwyl/dev-setup/issues/37

Vim is a good choice for editing text files. But the Flutter integrations available for VSCodium are miles better. see: https://flutter.dev/docs/development/tools/vs-code
