Installing MacVim based on discussion with @samhstn in https://github.com/samhstn/my-config/issues/16#issuecomment-311099164 https://github.com/macvim-dev/macvim

Tried via the binary: https://github.com/macvim-dev/macvim/releases But got: image

Going with the homebrew option:

brew install macvim

Still had to allow it: image Click "Open Anyway".

MacVim is the officially recommended GUI version on https://www.vim.org/download.php#mac ✅
