As far as I can see, (sem)[https://github.com/mbryzek/schema-evolution-manager] is a way of managing deployment of migration scripts.
I think our aim here is to be able to deploy a new schema, rather than manage a bunch of migration scripts.
Need to see if someone else has taken this approach.
