In other words, they deliberately release a newer version so they can keep charging you for it in perpetuity.
No indication of why you are forced to update/upgrade; which features they couldn't add to V2 ... 🤷♂️
Things is a very popular to-do app and is curious in that it offers no web app and is iOS devices only.
