Posthaven is a blogging platform whose main unique selling points are durability and independence. It is a feature-rich minimalist blogging platform that allows you to create a professional blog without any coding. They don't have a "Free Trial" or free tier at all. You either Pay $5 or you don't use their service.
We don't necessarily agree with their pricing policy; they have deliberately chosen to exclude people based on the ability to pay $5/month. We want everyone to be able to use @dwyl to help themselves be more effective ... see: Pricing.
But it really good to know that it's something that enough people are willing to pay for.

The gist is: it's simple to use and has a durability guarantee.
We need a way to offer a durability guarantee.
We will have RAID-100 for durability of our Database.
And we will build a 1-click download to allow people to get a .zip file with all of their items.
It's on a similar order of magnitude to Medium: https://trends.builtwith.com/cms/Medium
Obviously Medium has a lot more users who write posts on the site without having a custom domain so it's not an apples-to-apples comparison.
But it's certainly interesting how Medium has seen a drop off in popularity in recent months. 💭

According to https://trends.builtwith.com/websitelist/Posthaven 1071 current websites use it. Obviously https://builtwith.com does not scan the whole internet, just the top few million sites. But it's certainly indicative of the relative popularity.
