don't make any decisions on ephemeral chat (forces your expensive engineers to be always distracted so that they don't miss anything)
documentation is very important so that all decisions can be referenced
culture buddy
Invest in tooling
communication flow etiquette (don't get distracted during video chat/call)
cancel meetings that don't have a clear agenda 
communications. "if you can't link to it, it doesn't exist"
don't make decisions via slack
