7 Steps to Sleep Better? #15

What are the 7 most important factors in getting better quality sleep?

  1. Light (complete darkness using blackout curtains)
  2. Temperature 16 - 20* Celsius see: https://sleep.org/articles/temperature-for-sleep/
  3. Noise (silence)
  4. Time of day (hours before midnight)
  5. Comfort: Mattress, Pillow & Covers
  6. Mindset: What is your state of mind when you are falling asleep. (mental clarity / not thinking about work / issues!)
  7. Company ... is your room mate committed to sleep quality? Is your spouse a "good sleeper"?

@iteles thoughts? can you improve on or add to this list?

Seems like this is still an issue - would emphasise that https://github.com/dwyl/sleep/issues/2 is clinically proven and would recommend you to try it out if you haven't yet or when you return to london

An evening routine is next on my list of things to try out (and not on the list above, though contributes to 5, 6 and 7.
