What are the most popular/informative/interesting channels on YouTube and why?

Please add other examples in comments below. Which channels do you subscribe to and why?

All the channels that you've mentioned above are awesome and very informative and fun! But, there are also channels where the YouTuber asks the users to code along with them.

These may not be as fun as some of the channels that you've mentioned above, but they certainly get the job done.

"Get Hands Dirty" is a DIY (mostly furniture and interiors) channel created by Cristiana Felgueiras. image https://youtu.be/iKj0bFDBXEw

Based in Porto (Portugal). Has 372K subs and has several videos with over a million views. This is "pocket change" by comparison to the major "Vlogers" and YouTube stars, but I find it quite "inspiring" that Cristiana writes, films and edits all the content from scratch and has built decent side income out of posting videos. Production quality is good. I like the DIY aesthetic.

Ad revenue and Tool Sponsorship, I estimate around €2000/month in recurring revenue. This might not sound like much on the surface, but it's recurring and increasing! Each piece of new content adds to the "back catalog" and means revenue goes up over time.

This is what I want to do next with my time.

I'm a big fan of the Pick Up Limes videos: pick-up-limes-channel-most-popular

They're excellently bright (happy and positive) and have a calming quality about them. 🕊

I noticed that they have a link to the gear they use too: https://www.pickuplimes.com/gear
