I occasionally see an advert for Masterclass.com when I'm trying to watch a YT vid ... e.g: While researching for my post on "Dyslexia", the ad for Ron Howard's Masterclass course on directing came up ...

I've seen ads for Masterclass.com before, especially the Hans Zimmer and Deadmau5 ones 🎵 as I used to use YT as my "Spotify" until the Ads became "too much"...! 😞 Have you seen Masterclass.com Ads? did you find yourself watching them till the end? 💭

I feel that €200/year for awesome content of Masterclass.com is totally worth it. (I wish it was "free" so there was no barrier to entry for people who cannot afford it, but the quality of the content appears to be worth the asking price, and more!)

I feel like this is an intellectual (all-you-can-eat) "buffet" of incredible content. Does anyone else feel like @dwyl/@home should have a subscription to this...? Most importantly would you use it if we had it?

This hasn't actually gone up that much in the last 2 years.

We're pulling the trigger on this as the content is actually super interesting and we both end up watching a lot of youtube when doing housework (especially cooking for 👶 in my case) so this is a great way to learn.

Currently we can choose 2-concurrent-device membership for €240 a year (we get a 'free' gift membership too), or a 6-concurrent-device membership for €288 a year (€44 extra).

@nelsonic Is it worth the extra €44? I could potentially see a situation where we are both doing housework or craft work (once 👶 is asleep) and are both using it plus another dwyler might want to at the same time possibly?

This gift membership will end soon so please let me know your thoughts!

@iteles hmm … I don’t know if the extra €44 is worth it just to let someone else use it concurrently… 💭 It really depends on who the dwyler is … Who have you asked? 🤷🏼‍♂️ if you share the account with too many people you’ll easily exhaust the 6 concurrent on certain evenings. But for that, just create a MasterClass signal group and ask people to let you know when they are using it.

Does the App allow offline viewing? 💡
