Image Edge Webcam software: https://support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/app/webcam/en/download ⬇️ According to @kojiwakayama the latest version is "plug-and-play" for recent Sony A-series cameras. 🙌

Lame that it requires me to restart my Mac before I can use it ... 🙄 Might have to leave this till later today.

Restarted Mac, but sadly my camera is not recognised by Zoom ... It appears as one of the options in the Video source selection:

But the image does not appear:

After much head-scratching and retracing steps, I read through the comments on YT and decided to try a different USB cable!

Camera works now!

Ignore the unattractive subject. The point is that the camera works as a Web Cam! 🎉 Sadly the A7 (MK1) is not supported. But that's OK. There are still plenty of other uses for it. 👍
