DaVinci Resolve Studio -> Editor Keyboard

Sadly Apple has broken compatibility for our Contour Design Shuttle XPress media controller in the latest MacOS ... 🤦‍♂️ It would still work in Windows, but I'm not going to touch the Windows PC for video ... 🤮

@iteles are you confused about the DaVinci Resolve Studio Edition (Paying for Software) or the Speed Editor?

The "Top 3" features that make the Studio (Paid) Edition of Resolve worth it (for me/us) are:

1. Neural Engine: using machine learning to automate repetitive/tedious tasks like masking:

The "magic masking" looks very good instead of having to do keying manually:

2. Noise Reduction: both from audio and images can improve image/sound quality tremendously.
3. Plugins, Scripting & Automation: more plugins for every day effects using Python / Lua to automate repetitive workflows.

Don't worry, I'm not getting this yet ... I'm just opening the issue to get it out of my head so I can focus on my "work work".

But I think that for anyone who either edits video more than casually or values their time, the paid version is a no-brainer.

Complains that the Editor's Keyboard doesn't have bluetooth connectivity; wired only. 🙄

When I originally started researching this, I was only looking at the "Studio" version of Davinci Resolve. Just the Software costs €300:

Buying the Editor Keyboard includes the "Pro" Software for "FREE":

But this felt like way too much money to spend on a keyboard! 🙄 Especially cause this is just a "hobby" for me ... I'm not a "professional" content creator, yet...!

Yes, this is an absurd amount to pay for a keyboard! 💸 🔥 🤦‍♂️ But for a tool to get a job done much faster, it's a bargain. 👌 I have tools in my wood/workshop that cost this much and I only use for a few minutes per month. 🪚 So spending this on a tool that I will be using hours per day seems rational to me. 💭

Worst-case scenario: sell it for the price I paid for it and lose nothing in the process. 🤷‍♂️
