1st place: 3 ETH, 0.1% of reputation (REP) in DXdao and $500 of DXD vested over 6 months
2nd place: 0.05% of reputation (REP) in DXdao and $250 of DXD vested over 6 months
Challenge Description
Gnosis Protocol, the underlying protocol for Mesa, uses batch auctions. This has the benefit of countering front running, and has helped make Mesa a favored venue for running Initial Dex Offerings, or IDOs.
The DXdao product strategy for Mesa is to push more for the IDO usage of Mesa and position Mesa as the best tool for Initial DEX Offerings.
DXdao is interested in exploring new approaches to serving IDOs beyond the Gnosis Protocol. Gnosis Protocol wasn’t explicitly designed with IDOs in mind and there are various UX challenges that are involved with conducting and participating in IDOs on Mesa today. This challenge is asking participants to build smart contracts and/or interfaces focused on helping projects run IDOs.
Examples:
Create smart contracts that help projects create bonding curve IDOs on Mesa
Create an interface to be used on Mesa for the above bonding curve IDOs
Create smart contracts that help distribute tokens and raise capital using a Dutch Auction
