Slow syncing, high CPU usage #293

7:18 PM alexI don’t know about y’all, but re-sync after being disconnected for 12+ hours is S L O W 7:20 PM alexAlso, if I leave the Teamwork tab open at / with no pads open, it still eats like 100+% of my CPU. That seems excessive for heartbeating on peer status.

While syncing feels slow for new machines at times, I can’t reproduce the 100%+ usage so far on Chrome.

Note: The first Offline invitation seems to be really, really slow - over a minute

The part of slow invitations is better after the networking changes. Renaming issue, but leaving open to review the syncing and CPU usage.
