Grant Overview As the engineer for this grant, you will use the DXOS platform to develop a new app (think of it as a template/ app similar to apps on the Airtable marketplace). All of our code is currently in private repositories on Github. Your scope of this grant is to go through the documentation to set up your local development environment and develop the app outlined below. Our documentation and the state of each component from our libraries that you may need to accomplish the task is most likely buggy. Therefore, part of the scope of this project is to QA the documentation and onboarding process.

About the Project

1. What is the Problem or Opportunity? Currently, our codebase is distributed over many private repositories on Github. In the course of developing and releasing updated versions of each component, some of the documentation might have become outdated. Currently, developers who want to get started, i.e. understand all components, install components and start developing may or may not run into roadblocks along the way.

2. Why now? We are planning to release DXOS in Q1 2022 on Github under an open-source license.

3. Project Overview Here is a detailed description of all steps and deliverables:

• Onboarding to Github and Discord • Read the docs • Installation of tools required for this task • Exploring the current suite of apps • Create a new frame (app) • Create tickets (bugs, tasks) for everything you find along the way, inc. documentation and code • Create a video to demo the frame

4. Milestones & Checkpoints

Weeks 1-2:
