I've been at this for days. I hardly even care about the mod itself; I've moved on entirely to just the principle. I cannot get this to work. I don't have any other mods that aren't just optimization, but I uninstalled all of them to start from scratch and still it doesn't work. Maybe I'm just missing something.

Regardless of whether ECU is installed, the shop operates exactly the same, where you can't equip anything you don't own. I have installed the mod .jar, taken the other .jar out of the /essentials folder and placed it into mods, and tried both ECU and ECU legacy and nothing changes. They are the only mods I have installed right now. Totally unclear of the next step towards a solution. Hope you can provide one.

Edit: After 3 days of trying, merely 10 minutes after I made this post, I got it to work. I'm using 1.20.1 I'll explain how.

If you make the mistake of installing Essentials via the installer, like I did, simply removing the .jar from the mods folder and deleting the Essentials directory isn't enough. Here's what you need to do.

This should work to solve the issue for anyone experiencing the same thing as me. Really appreciate this unlocker; who the hell wants to pay for that nonsense? You're a king.
