If we set up a filter - how can we reset it back?
Why functions like lineLayerMaker have so many arguments - options object is considered a better practice
Should we keep padding around canvas elements or use viewport instead?
How should we organize generic regl creation? Base plot type?

workaround for screenshots if parcoords is in .gl-container
- make tests pass (exporting image)
