Learn about developing front-end services using ReactJS

The researcher and participant portals will be developed with React. To prepare for implementing the Participant Portal, it will be helpful to learn the basics of development in React and implement a simple tutorial application using the library.

Acceptance Criteria

• Implement a tutorial application in React in a personal repository.
• Present and explain the application and its underlying code to @katpavlova .

Where to begin?

• React Docs step-by-step guide, beginning with Hello World. Useful for learning from the ground up.
• Tic-Tac-Toe: The canonical React Tutorial. Useful for learning by doing.

Where to proceed?

• Complete Intro to React comes with Jes' very high praises. The actual course website is linked in the README. It includes material about useful additional libraries that may be missing from other pure-React courses and tutorials. It is also more recent/cutting-edge, demonstrating the current best practices for doing things in React. Includes an ongoing tutorial.
