5 years ago You already have the option to customize where and when you receive notifications. Go to Configuration > Notifications and look for the ManualTrade, you can currently receive notifications on the panel, Steam, Discord and Pushbullet. The pending item in the menu also shows the number of pending trades, regardless of you've viewed them or not. I'm not too sure if I'm going to implement your suggestion, sorry.

Add a highly visible animated icon on the left panel menu whenever there is a pending trade. Also add an audible alert
How would you like the requested enhancement to be implemented
Two locations: 1) Add it on the bar next to the word 'pending'. 2), When the tree is collapsed, the user should still be able to see the alert, so keep it visible next to the trades bar.
Icon should remain active as long as there are pending trades, regardless of whether they have been viewed or not.
Audible alert should be both instant at the time the trade comes in, and also chime again every time the AP chime sounds. So, e.g., the AP chime would sound first, and 1/2 second after, the pending trade alert sounds.
Ideally, the frequency of the audible alert could be customized, as some owners may want to prioritize these trades, especially high value trades. E.g., one could set it so that it chimes every X minutes.
There could also be an option in settings for all sounds, so users can turn them off if they don't like them.
Why would you like to see the requested enhancement in Bot.tf
Thus far, I have missed many trades because the only way one knows about them is to constantly check the trade section. I don't like missing trades, especially when the buyer is overpaying. This enhancement would help minimize this problem.
