end-to-end test workflow is too long and confusing. it needs to be refactored and simplified while retaining customization points.

Abstractions for training models, adaptation cycles and codegen/compilation/execution flow for nevresim simulator are implemented. Soft core / hard core mapping work flow also need to be simplified.
