Including a lightweight wrapper as a fallback would be nice

One of the main goals of utils was to single-file distributables... we should just include the source code of any tools used (confirm & truthy)

I feel like having to deal with the added complexity of introducing a build step for the utils isn't worth it here.

I've added simple wrappers as shell functions that implement all the functionality we need.
