Doesn't give tty color #455

I've been using pywal for a while but today I tried it and it just doesn't seem to work. After I type wal -i wall-20.jpg, it logs: [I] image: Using image wall-20.jpg. [I] colors: Generating a colorscheme. [I] colors: Using wal backend. [I] colors: Generation complete. [I] wallpaper: Set the new wallpaper. and changes the wallpaper successfully. But it never finishes running the command and never updates my terminal's color. Any idea why?

I gave up, the original wal seems to be fine though so I'm using wal instead of pywal now.
